ATTENTION: The last 1/2 mile down is a steep gravel road. All wheel drive vehicles are recommended. (but not necessary) The space Paradise on 140' of level lake front. Enjoy Skaneateles: gourmet restaurants, shopping, luxurious Mirbeau spa, yoga, Skaneateles Festival, buffalo farm, pumpkin patch and apple orchards. All within a 20 minute ride. A beautiful & historic area located on the edge of NYS Finger Lakes wine region. Visit Anyela's Winery in Skaneateles! Beautiful lake front with dock & mooring. Bring your boat! Property sits on a wooded hillside and borders a running creek with 50' waterfalls. Awesome hiking right out your back door. Bear Swamp State Park is close, with awesome mountain bike trails. If you are a road rider, looping the 17 mile long lake is a very popular ride. Carpenter Falls is a great intermediate hike on the west side. Go to the lower falls! Restaurants: Nearby, The Glen Haven, awesome summer spot on the south end of the lake. Drive or boat down, eat on the porch and don't leave without playing the bowling game. Guest access Enjoy your very own cottage on over 2 acres of wooded hillside with a 50' waterfall and 140 feet of level lake frontage on Skaneateles Lake. One of the cleanest lakes in the world. The frontage runs from the Little Shed near the stream on the south to the Big Shed. Please respect my neighbors' property privacy. You are welcome to walk the gravel road and up the stream and falls. Full boat access, (docking & mooring). Launch at Sevey's Marina, right across the lake. 6510 Glen Cove Rd Moravia, NY 13118. Great lake to fish or ski/board. Also, kayaks are available for your use. Our favorite spot is the fire pit on the point. Circle around and enjoy a blazing fire on the waters edge. Second is hanging in the Cozy Cabana. Other things to note The last 1/2 mile down is a gravel road, (Precipice Ridge Rd). It is steep in some spots. An all-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended. Simply put your car in low and go slow on the way down. The key to going up is a steady 15 miles an hour. We do recommend arriving in the daylight if possible. If not, let us know, and we will leave the exterior lights on. This is a lakeside cottage deep in the woods. While the water front is level with easy access to the water, the surrounding terrain is multi-leveled and requires a fair amount of mobility. Cell reception is great for Verizon, but a little spotty for others. They work best out on the dock :) The shower is small, trying to fit everything into 500 sqft. The water is filtered & UV treated. To turn the lights on/off in the cabana, there is a green extension cord by the entry door and an outside outlet.
