Greg is quiet but friendly, and mostly works from home in his private office so you have run of the rest of the house. We can also offer lots of info as lifelong residents of the area, plus we have tons of travel resources, guides, local menus, and more. However, we also like for you to have your own space, quiet time, and come and go as you please. Mostly we keep to ourselves and give you privacy, though we are usually around! You'll have your own key code for the front door. You will be more likely to meet Greg in person, but we are both available by phone and message; Nicole travels and runs another Airbnb nearby so spends less time at the house! Quiet charming neighborhood, centrally located and close to many amenities. Dairy Freeeze mom and pop ice cream right across the street (2 minute walk). Covered new bus stop just a few feet from our front door. Convenient (between 3 mins - 20 minutes) to Royal Oak, Birmingham, Woodward Avenue, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Historical Museum, Cass Corridor, Fox Theater, Detroit Opera House, and all of downtown Detroit. There is a new, covered bus stop right out in front (less than 500 ft). By car, we are incredibly convenient and easy to find, with plenty of free parking (off the street if you prefer). Anyone traveling to the Detroit area should understand that public transit is more limited than other major cities due to the auto industry, however there is still bus coverage most anywhere you want to go! Uber and Lyft service these areas, as well as traditional Taxi companies. We don't have pets or children, our home is quiet and enjoyable, with lots of original art, sunny spaces, and room for relaxing.
