Your room & bath are off limits to our rescue cats. Please keep your doors closed so they do not go into these rooms. They usually ignore them. Please no Red Wine in this room. Thank you for your understanding. As of August 2022, a one-year-old stray cat adopted us. He is a short haired tabby we named Toby. He loves to play with his new brother Mittens, our first rescue. Also as of December 2022, we have adopted a 14-week black & white puppy of mixed breed during an Adoption Event at PetSmart. It was not planned but a spontaneous Xmas present for my husband. Lucy has completed a 6-week puppy training course and can sit, shake, lay down, drop it, stay, 'leave it' most of the time but she is still very young and is still learning. Lucy is has learned to ring a bell to let us know she wants to go outside. She also rings it to let us know Toby wants to come in. 🙃She is a small to middle size dog. We believe these new adoptions Will Not Impact Your Stay. You do not need to interact with them if you do not wish to. The gate we have up is to keep Lucy in the Kitchen area, Not to keep you out. Please come through the gate as you need to. Lucy is a Very Quiet Dog unless Toby (the new adopted cat) decides to play & tease her. Truthfully, this doesn't happen very often so you should never hear them. We do use gates to block her from the Entrance Hall, Livingroom, and Upstairs. These are off limits to her but not to you our guest. She sleeps in the laundry room that also has a gate. We hope you will come and meet them. We would love to meet you.
