Surrounded by stunning views of unspoiled Ayrshire countryside, over 200 acres of private woodland, a garden pond and a huge walled garden, this two-bedroom self-catering cottage offers all amenities our guests will ever need to make their stay very comfortable and unforgettable. . The space Mclntyre Cottage is one of the conversions from the former Coachman's House, Harness rooms and Stables of Blairquhan Castle. Mclntyre Cottage has a large fully equipped kitchen/dining/living room upstairs with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer dryer, digital TV and a spectacular view over the valley of the River Girvan. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Guest access Guests can visit the Walled garden on the beautiful Blairquhan estates, and various walking routes as well. Other things to note Please note that the Blairquhan Castle on the estate is run as a separate entity and is an exclusive use venue. Only Castle guests have the use of front lawn area and the flower garden to the side of the Castle. We kindly ask our cottage guests to use the path at the back of the Castle for getting in and out.
