Privacy & location are two of our home's best attributes. It sits near a paved country road with few cars allowing you to enjoy the peace & quiet of the forest. The closest neighbor is about 800 ft away. This private home is just off Hwy 441 and is in a forest setting that is secluded & tranquil. It's 3 - 4 minutes from all the fun & excitement of PF, 6 minutes from Gatlinburg. Please read ALL information about this listing to avoid any misconceptions or disappointment during your stay! The space My home provides a whole house for you to enjoy and relax in. After a quiet night of rest, and you are ready to go see the sights again, we are 1.7 miles from Pigeon Forge. In light traffic that translates to 3 to 4 minutes. Gatlinburg is 3.5 miles away and about 6 minutes in light traffic. The road leading to my home is paved and about 1/4 mile off HWY 441 (aka 'The Spur', aka Parkway). If you are into the natural beauty of the area, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is easy to get to. With the G-burg by-pass immediately before Gatlinburg it's about 12 minutes. If skiing or snowboarding in the winter is your thing, using the by-pass will get you to Ober Gatlinburg from the house in approximately 17 minutes. Guest access My home is a single story house with a full a basement. Guests have full access to my home excluding the garage. The basement is unfinished and not accessible. Both bathrooms have grab bars in them. We will assist with your needs as best as we can. Please give notice when making a reservation so preparations can be made. Our home is situated on a 5+ acre forested lot and the guests are welcome to roam the property but there are no trails or paths. Other things to note Other than bathrooms and kitchen my house is fully carpeted. Please remove shoes in the foyer inside the front door. I am having a hard time spot cleaning everywhere. Guest are free to roam the 5 acres of woods the house sits on.
