The property is located approximately 17 miles from Cook, MN, the last 7 miles of which are on dirt roads. There is video surveillance of the driveway, front door, and side entrance. The cabin has one of the best views on the lake, but please note that we are approximately 200 ft above the shoreline and to access the water you must be physically capable of ascending and descending 117 stairs. Our cabin is approximately 200 yards away. We are often up in the summer. The dock and stairs to the dock are shared access, we may occasionally cross paths when heading to our boat. **Guests bringing a boat: The nearest public launch is located next to The Landing on Hwy 24, approximately 8 miles before you reach the cabin. The final mile to the cabin is narrow and winding with a few steep hills, so we highly recommend launching your boat prior to driving up to the cabin. **Wintertime guests: We will ensure that the roads are plowed prior to your stay, but there are several steep and winding hills in the last mile to the cabin. We require a 4 wheel drive/AWD vehicle for any guests planning on staying in the winter.
