It's just 3 houses from the white sandy beach with dining, nightlife & public transportation you can walk to. Good for couples, singles, or business travelers. Old Fla style tropical decor. Couple say they find the unit a very romantic setting. Wall mounted flat screen TV on swing arm to watch from sitting area or king bed. (Wi-fi, too) Extra lg bathroom + lg walk-in closet keeps your luggage and purchases out of the way. Very convenient 24 hr 7-11 just 1 min. walk away on quiet 1 lane streets. This is not your cookie-cutter vacation rental. Many of the furnishings are beautiful old family antiques, giving it a very unique "Old Florida" look and feel that is becoming harder and harder to find these days. There is top quality bedding on the king size bed and it's wonderful comfort level is something my guests comment on most. The unit is completely private, with it's own foyer and entrance. There is outdoor seating both in front, not far from your door, as well as a deck area behind the house with outdoor furniture that guests are also welcome to use. There are also a few beach chairs, sand pails and coolers back there you are also welcome to use. Most guests have told me they find this to be a totally perfect beach location, convenient to everything. Many have not even bothered with a rental car! I live on the property (second floor and opposite side of the house) but this unit has a separate entrance used only by the guest(s) at the front of the house facing onto a quiet, one lane, dead-end street . I am generally in and out in the course of most days (working), but it is never a problem or inconvenience to reach me by text if needed. The beach is a 30 second walk from your front door. There are also 2 very popular beach bars (that are also good places to eat) at the end of the street that have excellent live music daily in the afternoons and evenings. There is a beach trolley that runs along Gulf Boulevard as far north as Clearwater Beach and as far south as St. Pete Beach. The closest stop is only a 2 minute walk from your front door. All along Gulf Blvd, you can find every type of shopping, dining and entertainment a guest could desire. There is also something called the "Free Beach Ride" that will take or pick up folks anywhere on Pass-a-grille Beach, St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island and Madeira Beach for no basic fee... just tip them! (They are usually very prompt... about a 5 minute wait is average, assuming it is not a holiday.) I try to provide little detail items that I hope will make my guests visit a little nicer that also might enhance a romantic evening, such as crystal wine glasses (in addition to regular glassware and tumblers).
