Urban Chic 2 bedroom, BLOCKS from PETCO! W/parking
Description
A converted carriage house of a New American Colonial home built in the early 1900’s, this two bedroom 1 bath apartment has been completely modernized. It’s breezy, bright and chic, with vintage character still intact. We are located in Sherman Heights, just a 10 minute walk to East Village, and 20-25 minute walk to San Diego's Gaslamp District. We are a great location for visiting baseball fans as Petco Park is just a 15 minute walk from us! The space The host lives on the property in the front house. The back house is occupied by our Airbnb guests. There are 2, 2 bedroom 1bath units separated from each other. Urban Chic (upstairs) and Urban Rest downstairs. There are some parts of our property that are shared spaces. Laundry, dining table outside, patio and fire table. Our “Urban Chic” two bedroom apartment is the upstairs unit of a converted ‘carriage house’ behind a New American Colonial home. The front home was built in 1905 and the carriage house was built in 1912. We completely upgraded and modernized the apartment while still respecting the vintage character of the property (i.e. original hard wood floors throughout, but a brand new luxuriously appointed bathroom, etc.). The apartment feels glamorous yet cozy. Beds are ultra-comfortable each offering brand new 13 inch pillow top mattresses and topped with designer bedding. We do have a queen sized blow up mattress in case another bed is needed. The couch is not a futon and we don't recommend sleeping on it. We offer unlimited free coffee, tea and espresso at all times. We provide soap, shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom as well. There is a free onsite washer/dryer and a large outdoor fire pit and lounge area in a shared common space for your use upon request. There is free wifi and a brand new 55 inch TV with Roku to stream your favorite apps or you can just watch your regular cable shows. Free parking anywhere on the street. We are a quick walk (or even quicker scooter ride) to East Village, Gaslamp District, and Petco Park. You will find dozens of restaurants and bars very close by. If you like to cook, you will find the nearest grocery store a mere six blocks away. There is a newly refurbished liquor store down the street, and on weekends they offer an authentic Mexican street taco stand in the parking lot…the tacos are amazing! Our neighborhood of Sherman Heights is an up and coming area just off downtown and now bordering East Village. Sherman Heights was designated a historical district by the city of San Diego in 1987 and consists of many historical homes. With the downtown boom of the last decade, homes and buildings in the neighborhood are being restored back to their original character and charm. Our property is one of these gems! Guest access Key-less entry Other things to note Parking: You can park 1 car in the driveway on the right side as you enter the driveway. There is a gate but it's not locked. You can open the gate by pushing the gate to left side. It will slide easily. Registration Details STR-06415L, 647387
