The studio is very spacious making a long term or short term stay comfortable. You will need to use a flight of stairs to enter the building. This unit is on the third floor. Once inside the apartment there is living area with a queen bed, a twin bed and two large closets, the walk in closet is also a workspace and includes a desk and chair. full size bathroom with a claw-style bathtub/shower, full size kitchen with stove, fridge etc. Your welcome to use anything in the apartment. The space RESTORED 1921 Studio Apartment Building with the addition of modern amenities located 1 BLOCK WEST OF MAIN STREET BETWEEN THE COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA AND DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY. Entire studio apartment provides a pleasant escape in an enchantingly quiet neighborhood in the middle of downtown KC. The apartment is for the budget traveler with no hidden fees. It is about 500 sq.ft. with a full-size kitchen and bathroom. You will enjoy the experience of staying in a landmark historical, residential neighborhood. "Old Hyde Park" The location is just a 5 to 8-minute Uber ride to "Old Westport", "The Plaza", "Downtown K.C.”, "The City Market" & the “Columbus Park District" Guest access Guest have access to their complete apartments. This includes a large room of living space containing the beds and dining table. There is a small closet for storing suitcases & such. Off of the hallway is a bathroom containing the original cast iron claw foot tub. On the other side of the hallway is a large walk in closet with office desk and chair. At the end of the small hallway is a good sized fully equipped galley kitchen. -Laundry room is shared in the lower level -Backyard for entertaining or smoking is shared Other things to note There are 7 stairs from the street to the front door of the building. Once inside, there are 6 stairs up to 1st flr & 16 stairs up to 2nd flr and another 16 stairs up to the 3rd floor, apartment #9 is on the third floor. There is free street parking on the right side of the street. Please do not block any driveways as home owners will have your car towed. there is additional Street parking at the end of the block around the corner
