The Castle at Château Noland is a 9-bedroom home that - combined with the adjacent Carriage House Suites - make up the 11-bedroom Château Noland estate. The space Chateau Noland is an equestrian property high above the Avila Valley between Shell Beach and San Luis Obispo minutes from several beaches, bike trails, wine tasting and the idyllic downtown San Luis Obispo. The Castle at Chateau Noland was designed and built by Chad Noland with the help of friends and family over a 25-year period. The Castle has 3 comparable master suites, each with a king bed. The remaining 6 bedrooms are smaller, but each have their own newly renovated bathroom. The home is decorated with wall murals, hand painted domed ceilings, and antique furniture throughout imported from Europe. A playroom with a hidden entrance provides children and young adults with their own private space to play, sleep (3 bunkbeds), or both. The large, connected living area consists of the family room, dining room, and gourmet kitchen and is perfect for family reunions, birthday parties, or rehearsal dinners. A game room features a pool table, foosball table, and 85" television. Message host for more information. Consider booking the two adjacent Carriage House Suites to increase overnight guest capacity and enhance privacy. Guest access The Castle is a standalone private residence. Guests will also have access to the grounds but not the ground floor Carriage House Suites, which are booked separately. Message the host if you are interested in booking the entire estate. Other things to note Extra fees include: $80 per person per night for more than 6 guests. $30 per pet per night and will be charged separately.
