Cozy Casita in Los Ranchos of Albuquerque

This enchanting North Valley 1-bedroom casita retreat is located in the beautiful Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. The space is separate from the main house with it’s own private side yard and has all the amenities needed for comfort and privacy in a semi-rural area. HO (Home Occupation) # 582 The space The peaceful, tranquil, quiet, fully furnished one bedroom private casita offers Wi-Fi, a queen size bed, private side yard and is one of the best values you will find in the Albuquerque area for location, price and ambiance. This mid-century modern - shabby chic meets New Mexico hospitality casita is great for people looking for a comfortable, clean house while visiting Albuquerque. Accommodations The casita is located on a half acre and is separate from the main house – this gives you total privacy and is perfect for late night check ins. The casita accommodates up to 3 people or a small family – sleeping 1 or 2 people on the bedroom's queen-sized bed and 1 or 2 people on the blow up queen air mattress. Parking There is plenty of private off street driveway parking that can accommodate up to two cars or trucks and an RV, U-Haul or camper. The property is not gated and comes with RV hookup, electric, and water hook ups available. kitchen The kitchen is spacious with an oven, microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge/freezer, deluxe coffee maker, espresso machine, dishes, cooking utensils, and complementary coffee and tea. Work on your laptop or have a great breakfast at the bar style lunch/dinner kitchen counter. Side Yard The very spacious side yard is ideal for relaxing, enjoying meals and simple entertaining. It has a picnic table and outdoor chairs and is completely fenced in. So, if you are traveling with a dog, they would have a great place to run around in (1 to 2 small to medium sized dogs are welcome). And for those guests concerned with allergies – if a guest requests to have a dog, I will thoroughly, clean, vacuum, wash and disinfect all linens, beddings, carpets and surfaces once the guest with pets has left. The side yard is perfect for small intimate gatherings with your immediate guests. It is not meant for large parties. Bedroom The very comfortable queen sized bed is right next to a large sun-filled window overlooking the side yard. The bedroom has a large closet and has plenty of shelf space for clothes, shoes and other items. There is more than enough extra bed sheets, pillows, comforters, blankets, and clean linens available. Bathroom Bathroom amenities include: hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo with hand & body towels provided. Living Room The living room is air conditioned with two large sun-filled windows. The comfortable full length couch (not pull out bed) can be used as an an extra sleeping area as well. There is a double sided wall heater in the living room and kitchen. Other things to note The Casita has an evaporative cooler. The New Mexico dry air makes this the ideal cooling system. PLEASE BE AWARE that it does require a window to be open slightly so that the air can vent out. You can open the bedroom window and place a stick in the window so that it cannot be open further or you can open a window in the living room or kitchen. The air follow the path of the open window. The neighborhood is very safe and I also reside in a residence on the back of the property. I keep a sharp eye out for the safety and well being of my guests.
