It is a rock duplex that was originally built in 1950. The location is ideal as a base to explore the Texas Hill Country. Explore Wimberley Market Days or their downtown area to the north. Head east for San Marcos or south to Gruene and New Braunfels. Head west and you are in Blanco, Johnson City, Sisterdale, Luckenbach, or Fredericksburg. Venture out for local music, wineries, distrillies, antiques, hike the state parks, or tube the Guadalupe River. Take a day trip to Austin or San Antonio. The space The house was built as formans quarters for a 2000 acre ranch in the 50's. In the early 70's the ranch passed to heirs and later sold. Guest access I am here to answer questions upon arrival, but try to stay away to give my guests privacy. I can be contacted by phone. There are horses, dogs, and birds on the property. which I will be back to feed. The dogs will be penned up or gone with me .Guests have access to the outdoor area inside the chain link fence. Guests may not go into the pasture with the horses.
