Blue Haven is our dream home we built after years of moving around and accumulating ideas. It is situated in a beautiful peaceful setting amidst the rolling hills of southern Indiana. We are a large family and it has been a special place of gathering. We hope you feel its spirit and take advantage of the walking/golf cart-riding trails throughout the 70 beautiful acres that include two ponds for fishing. Kitchen features two ovens and two refrigerators (one is around the corner in the mudroom). It also has a Keurig and a coffee pot with complimentary coffee and tea. We also offer a 27-foot above-ground pool with slide and wrap-around deck, a fire ring with split firewood off the sunroom deck, and a gas fire table in the courtyard. The back deck by the pool has both a gas and a charcoal grill. We provide gas bottles, charcoal, and starter fluid. The whole house and property are yours to enjoy privately. You will have the entire place available during your stay. Sometimes we will not be there as we have a home and most of our family in Lexington, KY. While there, we occupy our guesthouse down near the road/entrance. We will come early in the mornings to clean the pool and hot tub, and water plants outside as needed. When we are not there, we have a trusted neighbor who will do this. We are 10 minutes from English where you will find the JayC grocery store & CVS as well as a bank, post office, and library. There is also the popular Lucas Oil golf course and restaurant. We are about 20 minutes from Paoli which features Paoli Peaks for your winter skiing and tubing activities, as well as a Walmart and various restaurants. We are about 25 minutes from the town of French Lick with its 2 resorts, casino, 3 golf courses including the renowned Pete Dye course, and the French Lick Scenic Railway. You can also find an indoor water park, mini golf/laser tag, and indoor go-kart track. We are about 30 minutes from Patoka Lake Beach and Marina. A boat ramp called King's Crossing is located 5 minutes down the road from us for entrance to this end of Patoka Lake. We provide a golf cart for quick access to our ponds and for fun trail riding.
