The Owl's Nest Studio Apt

Come relax and enjoy the views from the private screened in porch, private guest garden with sun deck, or from inside the apt. The choice is yours. At the end of the day, have a restful evening in the comfy king size bed. Mornings are easy with coffee, tea, cereal, or oatmeal. Internet password is on the fridge and you can log onto your favorite streaming accounts. We thoroughly clean and disinfect after every guest. No smoking anywhere on the property. The space The apt is one large room plus a full bath (with tub/shower combo). It’s on the lower level of our home but completely private. It's spacious and comfy with a view from the sofa and king size bed. The large screened porch has a sofa and chair to enjoy the view even if its' rainy. There's a guest garden with deck for another option to enjoy the view. All bed linens are washed after every guest. The kitchenette area does NOT have a stove but DOES have a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. We provide milk, butter, and jams, coffee, and a variety of tea. Guest access Guests will have the studio apt, the screened porch and the guest garden with deck. All of these areas have a year round mountain view. The apt is on the lower level of our home but it is totally private. Other things to note NO DOGS. We are on the side of a mountain with no dog friendly grassy areas. We have bears and coyotes that frequently pass through. It’s not a safe place for dogs. Our driveway is a bit steep but the designated guest parking area is near the garage and very level. There is a turn around so you can face forward to go back down the driveway. The private entrance to the studio apt is via sidewalk next to the garage. We have a motion sensor light near the parking area. The apt is private but is on the lower level of our home. No smoking , no vaping, no fireworks, on the property, no burning of candles or incense.
