The Whites House North

This house is a weekly rental, Saturday to Saturday. It is ideal for a large family or multi-family vacation. The major attraction is Camp-of-the-Woods which is two miles away. The family, dining and kitchen spaces have an open floor plan. Winter activities include local Oak Mountain skiing, Gore Mountain skiing (one hour - 42 miles away) and snowmobiling. Summer activities include hiking and all water activities. We are not on the lake. We have a canoe for lake use. The space There is a large fireplace for winter or cool nights. The large deck and gas grill (or charcoal grill) make dining on the deck delightful in summer. Places to visit include Lake Placid (two hours), Lake George (one hour) Saratoga Springs ( one hour twenty minutes), Albany (two hours). Guest access Three stairs into the house. One flight of stairs to the two smaller upstairs bedrooms.
