Brick Tavern Farm Studio is nestled just outside historic Lancaster City along Route 23. Originally built as a tavern in 1802, our unique property is now a small, organic, biodynamic farm. The home is 95% solar-powered and features energy-efficient geothermal heating and cooling. We’re conveniently located just minutes from scenic biking trails, microbreweries, and antique shops. Local attractions like Amish communities and the Spooky Nook Sports complex are just a short drive away. The space Your space opens onto a large porch and features a spacious living room, along with a private bathroom that is reserved exclusively for your use during your stay. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room ensure a comfortable stay during the warmer months. In cooler seasons, our geothermal heating system keeps the space cozy and warm. Our home is fully powered by solar energy. The kitchenette area includes a toaster oven, microwave, small refrigerator, and a French press. We’re happy to provide freshly ground coffee or a selection of teas. Guest access Your private apartment studio is approximately 1100 sq ft consisting of a bedroom, great room, bathroom and porch. During your stay You can reach us by messaging through the app or by sending a text. Please do not knock on the other doors of the house in an attempt to find us. I care for my mother, who has dementia and lives with us, and unexpected visitors can make her anxious. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
