We provide a comfortable 3 room apartment; there is a bedroom (1 queen bed), a living/office/kitchen room and a recently renovated private bathroom. It is a private environment for travelers. We use Airbnb when we travel and have tried to provide the amenities we welcomed when we travel, e.g. snacks, water, coffee. Our most important priority is that every guest knows their privacy is respected. We want the apartment to be a complement and asset to your visit. Our house is 4000 sq ft, 2 story ranch on South Table Mountain with beautiful mountain views. The 3-room apartments spacious and air conditioned. There is a walkout basement to a half acre of heavily treed yard with a private shaded patio and sitting area. The apartment has lots of natural light and is very private and comfortable. The apartment is approximately 950 square feet with a queen bed in the bedroom; a separate living room and kitchen with an adjacent working space with a large desk and a private bathroom. It is fully furnished with a full kitchen and most needed utensils (stove, pans, pots, silverware, dishes, microwave, small toaster oven and a coffeemaker). This apartment is solely accessed by the guests. Adjacent to the apartment is a large family room with a tv (with cable), exercise equipment (treadmill, stair master, rowing machine and a yoga mat/ball) and a laundry room. We rarely use this space so it's usually very private especially in the evenings; we primarily live upstairs. We invite guests to use this separate shared space. We are always available physically, via phone or text, for any questions or concerns. There is a shared entrance via a short hallway to the apartment's stairs; socialization is defined by our guests. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure and private experience for our guests. We invite all questions and/or feedback. Covid Update: Susan and I are both vaccinated and we follow the safety guidance from Airbnb and the CDC. Our neighborhood is made up of horse properties that are on the side of South Table Mountain, a mesa that overlooks Golden and is very rural-like while being adjacent to more urban communities; it is very close to the town of Golden and 15 minutes from downtown Denver. Also, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is 10 minutes away. There is usually high pedestrian traffic, hikers/runners; and cyclists using the low-traffic neighborhood as a training area. From here you have quick access to I-70, C-470 and I-25, all major highways to go downtown, to Red Rocks or to the mountains. There is also light-rail a short distance away that can take you downtown or to the airport. Our house is in the middle of several hiking and biking trails; a local golf course is 4 blocks away and very affordable. Also, many guests use Uber/Lyft since the rides are fairly inexpensive. Our house is in a suburban horse-friendly neighborhood, it's great for walking, gentle or tough hikes; and/or biking. A car is suggested since most restaurants, stores and other services are close by for driving but not walking. Many guests use Lyft/Uber since the total costs are much less than a car rental, e.g. a trip downtown Denver is approximately $18-20; to Red Rock Amphitheater, $5-8; to downtown Golden, $5-8. Additional Covid Note: We are both vaccinated and will continue to maintain the Covid safety standards as outlined by Airbnb and the CDC. Guests are able to arrive/depart with very little physical contact. We work very hard to ensure the apartment and any shared spaces are cleaned carefully and all surfaces are sterilized.
