The space Newly renovated cottage overlooks the water with a large deck and panoramic views from the Muskoka Room (porch/dining room). The kitchen is modern with stainless appliances. The place oozes a very homey cottage feel but with all the comforts of home. There is a master bedroom and another bedroom with Queens upstairs. Master bedroom 2 is the Muskoka room downstairs with a walkout deck. Another bedroom downstairs and another Queen down at the Bunkie. There is a rec room with TV downstairs. Wifi. Two full bathrooms one up and one downstairs. There is a fireplace adjacent for toasting marshmellows. Large dock. There is also a wood burning stove in the cottage for cool days plus laundry facilities. Parking for three cars max. Guest access Guests are welcome to use kayak and paddle board. You can bring your boat upon our prior approval when you book. Everything but one cupboard, closet and crawl space is open to our guests. Other things to note We recommend that you bring or you can rent a boat to enjoy the lake from late June to end of September. It is a huge lake to explore and Dorset is 5 minutes away by boat. It is the best little town on the lake. It has the best General Store in Canada, liquor store and you can visit the famous Dorset tower. You can do all your groceries and grab a coffee or ice cream or even a great meal on the water. There is golf and tennis nearby. Algonquin Park is 20 minutes away for hiking, canoeing and mountain biking. There is tree top trekking and ATV and boat rentals nearby. We will supply you with a full cottage information package once you have booked. Lots of good walking and swimming right by the cottage including the jumping rock across the bay!
