Nestled amongst the rolling hills, gorgeous vistas and beautiful woods of the Hampshire countryside, Watercress Lodges is the ideal holiday retreat. Perfectly situated overlooking the historic Watercress Line, the lodges offer charm and excitement on your doorstep. The six Self catering Holiday Cottages sleep up to six persons over two storeys, two double bedrooms on the first floor and double bed settee on the ground floor. The space The Lodges resemble railway cottages and afford fantastic views of the surrounding area. The self-catering accommodation is modern and comfortably furnished throughout. On the ground floor, the spacious hallway leads to the kitchen with all the modern appliances you would expect and need during your stay, including a dishwasher, whilst a separate utility room hosts the washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities and a downstairs cloakroom. The bright and airy lounge, with French doors to the patio, has been furnished with a dining table and dining seating for six, plus a leather sofa bed (double) and two armchairs. Along with Freeview TV we have provided an assortment of board games. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, along with a selection of storage furnishings, mirror and hairdryer. Whilst the second bedroom has been set-up with twin beds and further storage. The bathroom is located on the first floor, with a shaver point and freestanding shower. Each lodge has its own patio, featuring a picnic bench and a BBQ (upon request). Guest access Prior to your arrival, we will provide you with a code for the key safe which is located on the door of the property. You are welcome to let yourselves in any time after the check-in time. Other things to note Our lodges are located in a natural area where wildlife is abundant. As a result, during the summer months, mosquitoes can be present, especially in the evenings. We recommend taking simple precautions such as using insect repellent and keeping windows and doors closed to ensure a comfortable stay.
