This upscale 1200 sq. ft. private residence (attached at the rear of the mansion a was once the servants quarters) has been renovated with care. Stay at Lornewood Mansion in Guelph's historic downtown. It's close to many walking trails & the best restaurants/shopping in the area. Some visitors have stayed longer term to enjoy the quiet charm and beautiful setting. We have implemented special cleaning & disinfection practises to ensure your health and safety. The space A completely separate 2-bedroom house attached at the rear of historically significant Lornewood Mansion, has its own private kitchen, bath, bedrooms, and family room. This part of the property was originally built as a wedding gift for Charles Raymond's (Raymond Sewing Machine Co.) daughter and son-in-law. The property is picturesque and quiet. It’s perfect for people who are looking for a new space to work out of, as the property has high-speed internet for “working from home” and suitable desk space. EV charger in-site for a small fee. WIFI: our internet system blocks all adult-rated sites. No cable or satellite TV. ***Use your NetFlix/streaming account on the smart BluRay player*** Guest access Access to the entire rear quarters of the building through your own private entrance, and separate parking space on-site. Parking is accessible from the rear laneway - a one/way street you access from Quebec Street. Look for the cast iron fence. Park next to the Volt if it’s in the lot. Your spot is first one on the right! Other things to note We have implemented special cleaning and disinfection practices to ensure your health and safety while you stay at Lornewood Mansion that include: 1. 24-hour vacancy period between guests 2. Airbnb’s are first cleaned and then disinfected, special attention to high-touch areas 3. All laundry is professionally cleaned including all bedsheets and towels 4. Each unit is ventilated to allow fresh air to circulate between guests. *********** Park in lot at rear of building, off of Yarmouth Street Inclement Weather and Travel Interruptions Policy: we do not offer refunds to guests who have difficulty with their travel plans. Parties are not permitted. We live next door and are available to give a short tour of Lornewood Mansion and visit on short notice if needed in most cases.
