Camper/RV in Dunnellon

Happy Acres Ranch is close to Rainbow River for swimming & canoeing. We are not a dude ranch. We are a working horse ranch. Green grass and horses dot the landscape on 30 acres. Happy Acres is good for families (with kids), business travelers, and small pets. We take one small dog 10 to 15 pounds. Please check with host for pet rules & any exceptions to our policy as to the # of pets. Please notify host if you plan to bring a pet. The space Red River Camper sleeps 3 adults & 3 children, The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the dinning table can easily be dropped & converted to a bed to sleep a 6' adult, pull out couch can sleep one child & the bunk beds can sleep 2 more children. We have a 32" satellite TV (Direct TV), A M3 CD player with AM/FM radio, coffee maker, gas stove & microwave, central air & heat, dishes, pots & pans, flatware and towels and a beautiful view of the horses. Please remember this is a camper trailer made for traveling. The shower & tub combo is small and the hot water heater is too. It takes about 10 minutes to check in so we can explain how to work everything. WIFI The WIFI service provided by this host has become a complicated service to explain to our prospective guests. Those guests who know about WIFI and how it works will understand our WIFI service better than a novice. Anyway, our ranch is limited as to what we can provide and that is just the simple email part of the WIFI system and not some of the other options that are available from different providers in the city, such as streaming movies and downloading large files like pictures and videos. Our WIFI signal comes from AT&T. When we first started it was DSL cable. AT&T was having a nightmare repairing the cable because there is so much ground to cover in the country where we are. So back in October 2021 AT&T eliminated the DSL and now provide broad ban cellular service. Our download megabits are 4 and our upload is 1 to keep it strong enough for email only. This strength will not allow you to stream or look at videos on U tube. However, for movies we have satellite Direct TV. Remember the equipment you use (YOUR PHONE & SERVICE PROVIDER) has a lot to do with your success with any WIFI system. The WIFI works for me all day most every day. It is not intended however to down load large files, Videos and pictures. So, if you plan to come to the ranch with that in mind, then we are probably not for you. When we say WIFI we mean for email and not streaming large files etc. Also please remember that if you are staying in one of our campers here at the ranch that the metal veneer on the exterior will repel the signal on occasion and you will need to step outside. Guest access Our guest for the Red River Camper have access to the compound area of the ranch that includes the barns, the Gazebo, the bonfire area & the swing. Guest can also take a trail ride or lesson. (not included in price). There is a laundry with a full bath about 50' from the camper that has a shower. The washer & dryer will be installed in December 2020. Other things to note Pets: We take one dog up to 15 pounds. All pets must be on a leash when outside 8 feet max & controlled by an adult. If left alone you must provide a cage to keep them off the furniture. If you are going to bring a pet please contact Host before arrival. The bed in the bedroom is a queen & is 73" X 60", the drop down table bed combo is 86" X 48", the pull out couch is 62" X 48." There is no smoking in or around the barns or the Cottages, RV's or Groom Quarters. There is a 10 MPH speed limit inside the ranch. No drugs or fire arms or fire works at the ranch. No touching or feeding the horses without a ranch representative present.
