A mountain escape for 2-3 people in a relaxing and convenient space with everything you may need! The space The Timberloft is a studio apartment, similar to a carriage house located on our property (we live in the main house that is separate) in the hamlet of Keene, on the East Branch of the Ausable River. We are in walking distance to restaurants, shops, and community center. Keene is located in the High Peaks of the Adirondack Park, we are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Hiking, swimming, rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing on the Jackrabbit Trail will all be in your backyard. The studio is a bright and spacious timberframe with full kitchen/living room, queen bed and full bathroom on the main floor and open loft space with double bed. The bathroom has washer and dryer. The loft is equipped with highspeed internet and TV/cable as well as many books and games for the family. The entrance is a private deck with grill that overlooks the Ausable River. Guest access Please park on the right side of the driveway. You're welcome to park or store any gear on the first floor of the building.
