Located in North Lake Tahoe, equal distance from Northstar and Squaw Valley, this 3 bedroom, 3 bath home offers the idyllic vacation for family, friends, and couples looking for a true Tahoe experience. With pine interior, vaulted ceilings, and wood fireplaces, you will get the cozy mountain feel while enjoying gorgeous views of the lake. In winter kids can enjoy their own private snow play area, and in summer, everyone can enjoy the large lakefront lawn and seating. Follow the steps down to access to one of the best kept secret beaches in Lake Tahoe, and watch some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world from the beach or lawn. Details: The house sleeps 7 in beds, we offer an air mattress and twin roll away for extra guests under the age of 13. On the main floor, you will find two bedrooms and baths. The bedroom to the right as you enter the home is furnished with three twins. The second bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom. You will also find a roll-a-way bed in the hall closet, for those looking to make the most of the bedroom space. The second level of the house is a beautiful open concept master suite with a king-size bed, walk in closet, TV/cable, wood fireplace with seating area and bath with double vanity sinks, a large bath tub (the jets do not work) and separated stand up shower and WC. A queen size air mattress is also available. Just past the two main floor bedrooms, you'll enter the open living room, dining room, and kitchen. Facing the lake, the living room offers smart TV/DVD/Cable and a wood burning fireplace, and the dining room offers a 10 person table great for large groups (the table extends and the extra pieces are located in the hall closet). The sliding glass door off the dining area leads to a covered deck and steps to the lawn and beach. The large open kitchen and breakfast nook (seats 4) is well equipped with a new stove and microwave, a large pantry and all the types of cookware to make a romantic meal or a picnic on the beach for the family. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and barware. There is a patio off the kitchen for barbecuing (a propane grill is offered). This awesome property has a large one garage spot and a flat driveway. Other things to note Although the bedding, linens, towels and beds are new within the last couple years, the living and dining room furniture is not. It is from the 1960s-please keep that in mind when booking. Please remember that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis. Winter 2024/2025: Propane Grills may not be accessible during winter months and propane is not monitored from Nov 1-May 1.
