The Parlor on Railroad Avenue

Come stay at the Parlor located in Armory Park just south of downtown Tucson. Enjoy your own private, one bedroom guest suite with a private entrance, bathroom, and mini-kitchen (with fridge, kettle and microwave). Relax in this historic 1900’s home, a hideaway, with a shared garden front porch. You'll be just a five minute stroll to downtown Tucson, the streetcar or the Tucson Convention Center. Perfect for the University of Arizona. This is a non-smoking property. The space THE SPACE: Relax in your Parlor on Railroad Ave. Enter through a secure gate to enjoy a sunset on a garden covered porch. Then step through your own private entrance into the parlor room to relax and unwind. The guest suite features a sparkling clean private bathroom with subway tile shower and plenty of fluffy towels, hardwood floors, a new (and seriously comfy) queen bed with a memory foam topper, hypo-allergenic luxury bamboo sheets and organic cotton hypo-allergenic pillows. Chill on the comfy chair and watch TV or get some work done while sitting at the desk. Wake up and stroll out to the porch to sip coffee from the french press, and always start your evening watching the perfect AZ sunsets out to the West. The small kitchen area, which is a converted closet, has a hot water kettle, french press, microwave, refrigerator, and is stocked with coffee, tea, etc. Guest access GUEST ACCESS: Locked front gate with keypad access to the shared front garden with a large shady mesquite tree and orange citrus tree. Porch area with key access into your private entrance. We have fast WiFi, quiet garden porch, lots of free street parking. Other things to note No SMOKING POLICY: This is a non-smoking property. I am staying up to date on Covid protocols for cleaning and awareness of the situation in Southern AZ. The parlor is a safe, clean and comfortable space to stay with extra care taken in between guests. Please let me know if you have any questions. PETS: I do allow well-behaved dog friends to stay at the Parlor. There is an additional pet cleaning fee of $25 dollars. No cats please. MUSIC STUDO: I am a musician and private music teacher and I run a friendly, acoustic music studio, in the back of the house. Lessons are given Monday-Thursday in the afternoon through early evening (3:00-7:00 PM). The music studio does not share a wall with your suite and is soundproofed, but you may hear a piano or singing, here or there. My students enter through the front gate and come round the back of the house. So if you are relaxing on the front porch (which I highly recommend) you may meet a friendly music student passing through.
