Centrally located with access to bus and MAX train 10 min. from downtown and 10 min. from airport. It's a foodie neighborhood including cafes, pubs and food carts in 2 blocks. Easy walk to organic grocery. Our basement apartment has a spacious living- sleeping area with private entrance and garden view. Snack bar has microwave, hotpot, expresso machine and fridge. The king bed+daybed sleeps 4. We use unscented and non-toxic cleansers. We enjoy the diversity of our guests! The space The Artist's Retreat is a 3 room basement apartment plus laundry area and garden. The large walk-in closet contains a refrigerator and room for storing suitcases, hanging clothes etc. Light food prep with toaster oven and microwave can save money for breakfast and lunch. We have counter space and many gadgets for making coffee and tea. There is a grill for outside use. We provide dishes and utensils. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the garden area with outside table and chairs as well as the apartment. The back yard is a peaceful, spacious bamboo grove. Other things to note Please help me keep my cleaning deposit low by putting the sheets, towels and pillowcases from your stay into the washer. I will appreciate it if you put all of your trash and recycle items outside, into the containers provided. Food scraps can go into the green yard waste container. Portland creates compost!
