Our sun-drenched central countryside location is a short 5-minute drive from Mahone Bay and close to Oak Island and Lunenburg. A perfect spot to call your home base to discover the South Shore. Our idyllic property includes a dock on a tidal river with picturesque views. The space The bright airy and newly remodelled king bedroom on the 2nd-floor has a full private ensuite bathroom with a shower, sun-drenched in the afternoon. Enjoy large windows that can be opened for a nice cross-breeze and enchanting views of the pasture and the river. The bedroom has high-quality linens and a high-quality mattress that our guests have raved about. Contemporary furnished and stylishly decorated this room has everything to make you feel at home – WiFi, Netflix, Prime, hairdryer, iron and more. Our welcome package includes Lindor chocolate, water, coffee and tea in your room and the guest lounge and guest porch conveniently located on the same floor. The spacious historic house offers two double rooms and one 2-bedroom suite, each spacious and with its own private ensuite bathroom, it sleeps 8 people. Ideal for couples, families or small groups to get away and connect. We offer complimentary guest bikes and have easy access to the Rum Runners Trail, perfect for the outdoorsy and adventurous. Guest access You have access to the guest lounge equipped with a guest fridge, toaster, books, maps, cards and board games. A covered porch, picnic tables and a dock on the river to hang out. Fire restriction permitting enjoy a cozy bonfire or the firepit for an intimate evening outside. Other things to note You’ll be 200 feet from the water, where you can launch your kayak in the river that flows into Mahone Bay, about 1km down the river. We live on the property in the same big farmhouse. However, the guest part is separate has its own covered porch and entrance on the opposite side of the house. The safety of our guests is always our highest priority. We have implemented enhanced cleaning measures to keep everybody safe.
