A home built circa 1920, you will find peace and easy living. Easily accessible to restaurants, the arts scene, wedding venues, and history, this house is perfect place to “home base” while you explore old Wilmington. A single story dwelling, with the kitchen at the heart of it, it boasts heart pine floors in the original part of the house and oak in the addition that was just completed in 2019. With an en suite and a small sitting area in the master bedroom, it is the perfect place to unwind! The space The whole house is yours to explore, as is the back deck and patio. The house is designed for comfort and ease of living. It is located in the historic part of Wilmington, with Live Oak lined streets and 100 year old houses. There are many great restaurants, all within walking distance. The Wilson Center is about a 20 minute walk, and Thalian Hall about 15. The house was built in 1920 and renovated in 2019, adding an addition to the craftman cottage to include a 3rd bedroom with en suite bath. The kitchen was updated to include stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. At the end of a long day, relax with premium 100% cotton bedding and very comfortable memory foam mattresses. The original heart pine floors have been refinished and the original fireplace is still in the Living room. So take a step back in time, but keep all the amenities of today, and come stay in our lovely Wilmington home! Guest access The guests have access to the whole interior house, plus the deck, patio, and small yard in back. The garage is for the owners use. Other things to note Parking is on the street, but if you need to, you can park directly on the right side of the house. Please be sure to respect the neighbors privacy and property when parking there.
