Beautiful lake front cottage in the heart of Inlet, NY. Newly remodeled in 2016, the cottage maintains it's Adirondack roots with classic wood furniture throughout the home. The cottage sits atop a hill over looking fourth lake. Guests can enjoy a cozy fire and views of the lake from the common room of the cottage. Guests have access to the grounds of The Woods Inn, including 2 docks. Private Cottage -Fireplace (gas) -Porch -Grill (gas) -Master bedroom with queen Adirondack bed -Upstairs bedroom with 1 full bed and 1 set of bunkbeds -Couch pull-out full size bed, with memory foam mattress in common room -kitchenette w/ toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishes, and a Keurig. -Bathroom with shower/bath. -Amenities such as sheets, towels, and soaps. -Wifi (Cell phone service is spotty) -Cottage located on The Woods Inn property in the town of Inlet NY The Woods Inn grounds - Large 12 foot wide dock with gazebo - Small sand beach - Wrap around porch - immediate access to over 30 miles of hiking trails - In-season (mid summer/winter) dinning room and tavern - In-season kayak/Stand Up Paddle Board/Canoe/Pontoon boat , Snowmobile, Skates, Snowshoe & Ski rentals available onsite or nearby Interaction with guests is season dependent. The Woods Inn is open May-October and January-March. When the Inn is open guests can stop in to chat with our front desk attendant or grab a drink and a bite to eat at the tavern or restaurant. When the main inn is closed, guests of the cottage can enjoy a quiet experience with the Woods Inn's grounds practically to yourself. My staff and I will be available by phone/message. The Woods Inn is located in the heart of Inlet, NY. Arrowhead park is right next door to the property. Arrowhead park has tennis courts, playground, baseball fields and a sand beach w/ lifeguard in the summer. There is also a mini golf located in town. Inlet has several eateries, coffee shops, gift shops, book store, a grocery, and a hardware store. Fern Park is also within walking distance. Fern park has baseball and soccer fields, hiking/snowshoe/cross county ski trails. In the winter an indoor skating rink is available to the public. Also near by is a convenience store and gas station. The Woods Inn property has access for bikes, boats, cars, snowmobiles and trailers! In the winter the property is on the areas main (groomed) snowmobile trail system. Non-powered boats can be launched on the property, powered boats can be launched from the public boat launched just up the hill from the Inn property. Dock space (11 slips) is on a first come first served basis.
