Welcome to Pine AZ, located just 90 miles north of Phoenix in a small arts and craft community, located just below the Mogollon rim in the Tonto National forest. Come to enjoy the many hiking trails or just to relax in the cool climate. There are endless things to enjoy. Great little restaurants and shops. Fossil Creek is a great hiking spot but you must make reservations with Strawberry Fire Department. Woods Canyon Lake is 45 min if you like kayaking. Tonto Natural bridge, and much more. Take a welcomed relief from the heat and travel to Pine and enjoy the hiking trails or the nearby Tonto Natural bridge and many other trails and creeks to enjoy. The bunkhouse is referred to as Snoopy's place and you know you have arrived by painting of Snoopy on the side. Winter months we can expect some snow. Within 45 minutes up the Rim road there is sleigh riding or even some cross country skiing. Sit outside for a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night and if you are luck you will see more Elk than you could imagine. We are situated within walking distance to the center of Pine , with many places to eat, a Market with everything you may need along with antique shops and Craft stores. Our guest house is ideal for enjoying the outdoors or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning on your private patio or your beverage of choice in the evening as it starts to cool down. We are located 13 miles north of Payson and 3 miles south of Strawberry. So its easy access to their shopping and antique stores. 1 bedroom with queen size bed a futon located in the living room that can sleep 2 private bath room with shower laundry room Amenities The quest house has all you need for a comfortable stay in the Pines: laundry room with washer and dryer, gas grill, ceiling fans, a hammock, wifi, micro wave, refrigerator and toaster, clean linens and towels and much more. The perfect setting for a family get away. Either Greg or Susan will be available for any needs you may require, either on premises or a phone call away. They will be available for as much or as little interaction as you desire. Most of the time our neighborhood is quiet. One can just sit and listen to "quiet". During the summer we do have a few more visitors. You can walk anywhere in town. The area is wonderful and friendly. Just give the Pine Wave to all and they will give you the same. During the fall we have a lot o Elk👏 Walking distance to town or bring a bike to ride. It can be a bit hilly. The guest house and main cabin are on a septic system so please do not put anything in the toilet except for the toilet paper provided.
