Welcome to my home in a nice, quiet, secluded neighborhood in the hills of Anniston close to everything like restaurants, museums, mountain biking, and hiking. I am a retired teacher, and love riding motorcycles in my spare time. I've travelled the world staying with other people, and always found it a wonderful experience. My hope is that you will feel welcome and comfortable in my home. You will have a private bedroom and bathroom and can use the rest of the home as you wish. Your guest room has a double bed, black-out curtains, closet for hanging clothes and dresser for storage, small desk and lounging chair. Please ask if there is any you need. You will be welcomed by Sophie, my sweet Golden mix rescue dog. The scaredy cat Kiki will vanish when you are around. Relax on the back deck nestled in the trees and enjoy a drink or dinner or swing in the hammock. I am glad to help with restaurant recommendations or directions to activities. You will have full access to the kitchen, family room, music room, laundry room, and treehouse deck. I want you to make yourself at home, and come and go as you please. I enjoy visiting with my guests when they are interested. Easily accessed off I-20 from Exit 188 then follow your GPS. Close to everything but no traffic noise! 15 minutes to Jacksonville State University 15 minutes to Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail 15 minutes to Chief Ladiga Trail 30 minutes to CMP Talladega 25 minutes to Talladega Superspeedway 15 minutes to Anniston Army Depot There is no public transportation. Parking is in the driveway. I make special accommodations for BICYCLISTS such as secure storage and after-ride showers. Please note the Guest Service Fee is a charge by Airbnb, not me.
