Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times. The space Rustic aesthetics with early twentieth century charm in the majestic foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, on the bank of the pristine Pecos River. Chameleon is a two room rustic cabin which can accommodate up to 5 persons. Families welcome. No tents allowed. No pets allowed. Guest access Guests will have access to a beautiful, serene and relaxing location not far from both natural and urban areas. Guests have access to all common areas including bath house and picnic areas. Areas directly behind any domicile is off limits. Multiple access points to the Pecos River both on and off property. Other things to note Cabin has limited electricity, can handle only minimal usage at any given time. Overhead lighting, bedside lamp, 2 outlets. Minimal solar exterior lighting, AWESOME star gazing opportunities! The sunrises and sunsets are STUNNING! Cooking and Heating provided by wood stove (only during winter months,) propane heater in the living area and infrared electric heating in the bedroom. Outdoor fireplace for use and enjoyment, guests supply their own firewood.
