The private backyard cottage is located in a quiet, safe, and family oriented neighborhood. Cozy cottage includes queen sized bed, bathroom with sink, toilet, shower, washer/dryer, and kitchen. There isn’t a microwave, but plenty of pots and pans to warm up any leftovers. The cottage has wireless internet and a mounted flat screen tv with an Roku so you can log in to your Netflix, HBO, and Pandora accounts.  Enjoy the backyard deck with a view of the bay just outside your door. Guests have access to their cottage, their own private bathroom, kitchen, and washer/dryer.  Clean sheets, towels, and free wifi.  Plenty of free street parking if you are driving. Whatever seems natural.  I live in the main house and am working most days.  If needed, I’m available via phone, text, and email. I’m easy to get along with, enjoy meeting new people, but am respectful of guests’ privacy. I will do my very best to coordinate schedules for your arrival and give a basic tour and orientation of the cottage, if desired, though often it may be you using the lock box for entry. Please feel free to contact me throughout your stay. The Host may ask for ID upon check-in. As a part of my hosting practice, I typically only consider guests who have reviews from previous stays. This helps ensure a positive experience for both guests and hosts. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, but I currently don't have the flexibility to make exceptions regarding the review policy. Conveniently located within a 5-minute drive to El Cerrito Plaza BART and El Cerrito Del Norte BART. You are a short BART ride away from downtown San Francisco (25 min), UC Berkeley (7min), and Oakland Coliseum (30 min). A few minute walk to AC Transit bus to BART (71 line) and Transbay Bus to San Francisco.  Easy freeway access to San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Napa, and Marin. Public transportation is available in the neighborhood, but I prefer driving into the city or to the Bart stations. Visit the Bart and AC Transit websites to find bus/train schedules. If you need to cross the Golden Gate Bridge or the Bay Bridge into San Francisco, the San Rafael Bridge into Marin, or the Carquinez Bridge towards Sacramento, there is a bridge toll of $4-$6 depending what time you cross the bridge. Visit Bay Area Fastrak for more information on Bay Area Bridge tolls. I will provide detailed instructions prior to your arrival. Keys will be held in a lockbox for you. If you are unfamiliar with how to use a lockbox, please contact me at least 24 hours before your stay and I will walk you through how to open a lockbox.
