Our three-bedroom home with dramatic glass extension in Bernal Heights is well suited to those looking for a quaint neighborhood close to the hip mission district. Enjoy our gourmet kitchen and appliances, steam bath shower and newly landscaped garden. And, rest assured, I only use 100% organic Cotton or Linen bedding and down inserts for a comfortable nights sleep. The space Our house is light filled, open and airy; imagine a loft with doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms! From the moment you walk in, you can see right through to the garden in the back. The living room is spacious and light filled by a massive skylight cascading light down the stairs and into the living and kitchen areas. There are massive windows in the back from the large sliding doors to the garden, to the 2 story wall of windows in the office & lofted playroom. If you are looking for a dark gloomy house, then this place is not for you! All bedrooms are kitted out with yummy mattresses (european sleepworks & casper) and soft, 100% cotton sheets & loads of great pillows. Being a frequent traveler myself, I know how important it is to be able to slide into a copy bed at the end of a long day. You can rest assured(pun intended) that you will sleep very well in all our beds! The bathrooms are tiled with Heath Ceramics, and the master bathrooms shower is also a steam bath....a real treat in the winter months(and also in the SF summer!) I provide organic shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in all bathrooms along with loads of plush towels. The house is situated in an ideal spot of Bernal Heights; one block to the hill which has panoramic views of the city, and 2 blocks from Holly Park which is great for kids. We are also around the corner from a fabulous coffee shop called Pinhole and a butcher called Avedano's, and a 4 blocks from the grocery store, Good Life. There are a few cute stores and restaurants on our hight street, Cortland Ave, and the Mission district is down the hill. Overall this is a quaint, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city and fun the Mission and Noe Valley have to offer. Guest access You will have access to all of the house save for a closet and the garage. Help yourself to our well stocked kitchen and pantry(just replenish both before you leave) watch movies on Netflix etc. Hang out in the dining area, on the deck or in the garden and enjoy a quiet moment. Other things to note We have one elderly neighbor who suffers from asthma and so we do not offer the use of the BBQ in the summer months as it impacts his health. Registration number 2022-011622STR
