We have converted our barn into a 3 bedroom RUSTIC bed & breakfast. Each room is listed separately on Airbnb. WE ARE OPEN MAY THRU SEPTEMBER WEATHER PERMITTING AS WE ONLY HAVE AN ELECTRIC HEATER FOR HEAT WHEN NEEDED AND FANS FOR COOLING WHEN NEEDED. This will be a quiet RUSTIC experience . You will have a private room w/ a real bed while sharing the common areas and facilities with other guests. PLEASE READ DETAILS OF LISTING THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING! This room measures 8 x 10. Has two twin beds. We will provide a Keurig coffee pot for hot drinks along with bottled water. There Is a microwave, toaster, toaster oven and a refrigerator. Plates, cups, pots and pans and utensils will be provided. We provide lots of variety of breakfast food for you to prepare yourselves. We will provide towels and wash cloths. If your stay is longer than 3 days you will be provided with fresh bedding on the 4th day if you request. Additional towels will be provided daily or as needed and requested by you. You are required to do your own cleaning. The common area includes a dining area and to living room areas. An outdoor area will be available for grilling out on provided grills or you may bring your own. There are various areas that will have stairs and the doorways are only 32" wide or narrower. A small Library will be provided for those that enjoy a good read. There is no television or radio. There are 3 shower rooms. The mens has a water-less urinal. The main bath room has an up to date water-less toilet and a sink. The extra towels and linens are stored here as well. Please see pictures. There are 3 other bedrooms in the barn that are listed separately on AIRBNB. They are the Cardinal room, the Hummingbird room and the Goldfinch room. If you enjoy camping then this is a couple steps up from that and you should feel right at home! If you prefer comfy air conditioned private hotel rooms then you should think twice before renting!! You are welcome to use the field and yard areas around the barn. We do have dogs so we would prefer that you stay away from the fenced area of our house. Guests are to asked to park in the area immediately in front of the barn to the left of the sidewalk and no where else. You have access to the bike path at the rear of the yard. One or both of us will try to meet you at check-in. We are both in and out during the day but can be quickly reached via cell phone. You have access to the Heart of Ohio Trail which has an entrance at the rear of our property so bring your bicycle! You are 30 minutes from an outlet mall and lots of other shopping. Thirty minutes away from canoeing, tubing, antique shops, restaurants, movie theaters and so much more! We have lots of local county fairs and just up the road is a straight track that holds drag racing competitions. Nearby is a green house that along with beautiful flowers offers vegetables and local honey and many delicious Amish baked goods. STRESSING THAT WE ARE A RUSTIC PLACE - READ ALL DETAILS OF LISTING THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING - ALL AREAS OTHER THAN BEDROOMS ARE SHARED WITH OTHER GUESTS. There is no smoking inside the barn ( please dispose of butts properly and safely in outside ashtrays). We ask that you care for our property as we would and put trash where it goes and leave the place as it was when you arrived. Not suitable for small children. Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum. No parties. We do provide corn hole, horseshoes, croquet.
