Set in the serene Pine Valley area of Rotonda West this beautiful villa has 3 bedrooms and 4 bath/shower rooms plus a large outdoor lanai area with heated pool and spa. Master suite with walk in closet, en suite bathroom with spa bath, large shower and double sinks. Direct lanai access. Double bedroom with en suite shower room with WC. Direct lanai access. Twin bedroom (2 single beds) adjacent to pool shower room with double sinks and WC. Office /den with en suite shower and WC. The space The villa is situated in a tranquil location amidst golf courses and canals yet close to several beaches. The layout of the home is bespoke. Our heated pool and lanai are much bigger than many comparable properties in the area and ensure outdoor living is very comfortable, with high grade bug screening. Electric pool heat is available at additional cost of $120 USD per week and payable locally to our Manager. Please note that pool heating will only bring the pool temperature up to approximately 10 degrees higher than the night time temperature of the outside air. As such, depending on the weather, you may still consider the pool too cold despite heating. This service is available on a weekly basis only and must be requested one week prior to arrival. The area around the villa is perfect for golf but also cycling and walking etc. with numerous attractive walkways through the golf courses. Cycle hire is available in Englewood. Water activity provisions are numerous, with so much water everywhere boating is obviously popular. Fishing, kayaking, boat hire, jet-ski hire etc. are all plentiful and there is lots of information at the villa. Englewood beach is a 20 min drive and is very family friendly. There are restaurants and a boardwalk with shower and toilet facilities. It is situated on Manasota Key and there are several more beach access points further along the key. In the other direction is Stump Pass beach and State park. For a more natural experience we love the barrier island Gasparilla, which is also a State Park. It is accessed via a causeway, which involves a toll. It takes 25 minutes by car to reach the village of Boca Grande on the island where there are numerous restaurants and boutiques. There are 5 parking areas managed by the State Park offering different access points to the beach on the island, at least one of which offers toilets, a shower and shades with picnic benches. Our favourite supermarkets locally are Publix, one at Gulf Cove (towards Port Charlotte) 11 mins drive, one south of Rotonda at Cape Haze (near Gasparilla causeway), which is 14 mins drive, and another at Merchants Crossing (towards Englewood) 18 mins drive. There is also a Walmart, Bealls and others in Englewood. Port Charlotte has a larger shopping mall with all the usual stores, 28 mins drive. The Pine Valley area of Rotonda has the best of both worlds we think; it is a very peaceful, tranquil and natural environment but amenities and healthcare professionals can be accessed very quickly in all directions. Guest access The whole house is available, except for two locked cupboards used for our own storage: one in the utility room and one in the office/ den. The house is detached with a driveway and garage. Outside areas include the lanai with high grade bug screening and gardens bordering the canal at the rear of the home.
