Our waterfront cottage in North Carolina is a few steps down a gentle slope to Lake Hickory with a golf course in the backyard. Bring your fishing and golf gear, bicycles, and swimsuits. Relax on the new dock or one of the large decks. Enjoy the views, the fish, ducks, geese, turtles, and more. We have 2 small single kayaks to use. Boat rentals are available <5 min. away. Great restaurants and world famous Hickory furniture shopping are nearby. Romantic for couples, great for small families This is a charming little cottage with a screened porch. It is fully stocked with amenities and it is located between the lake and a golf course. It can feel like you are a million miles away yet restaurants, shopping, and many other fun activities and adventures are near by. The house is located on a large lot with plenty of space. There is 120 feet+ of waterfront. There is a new dock and new deck above the boathouse. Lake Hickory is a great place to swim, water play, fish, float, and take a kayak ride. Our private cove is very accessible, safe, and quiet. We have a circle driveway with plenty of parking space. We are available via a text message or email or will put you in touch with a friendly neighbor if need be. We are in a small, safe cul-de-sac, on a private cove off of the main channel of Lake Hickory in the community of Bethlehem. There are about 8 single family homes, mostly permanent homeowners who live there year round. The neighbors on both sides are always willing to answer questions and chat across the dock if you would like. You can wave to the neighbors across the lake (or take a swim over) Player's Ridge golf course is in the backyard and is in walking distance to the restaurant on the course. River's Edge Marina is close enough to swim or kayak to (or short drive away).
