Description

Quiet, studio, upstairs garage apartment surrounded by pecan trees. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, an easy walk to great restaurants and a fantastic grocery. The apartment is cozy and outfitted in cotton linens and stocked with morning goodies. The space Enjoy staying in heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District! This up stairs (9 steps) studio apartment in the peaceful Arlington Heights neighborhood of Ft. Worth, sleeps up to four (if you are a family) otherwise 2, including a baby (pack and play) and is equipped with a small kitchenette (no stove), bathroom, balcony and internet. The kitchenette is a separate room and is air conditioned when you open the door to the hall from the main studio space, and close the plastic curtain to the stairwell. The ceiling follows the roof line so the interior of the apartment has sloping A-frame type ceiling which does not interfere with the living space (see photos, they clearly represent the diagonal lines of the A-frame ceiling), but does make the shower stall cramped if you are over 6' and the bathroom is small (see photos). I have provided a shower stool for taller guests under the dresser. I do accept children and infants and have a Pac-n-play for infants to sleep in. Let me know if you have a baby so I can have the bedding and Pac-n-play ready for their stay. When I indicate 4 guests, I am referring to a small family, a couple with two children. If you are under 21 drinking is prohibited by the state of TX, and therefore prohibited on my property. If you are over 21 feel free to relax with a cocktail on the balcony. The cozy, quiet apartment is 5 minute drive to Fort Worth's culture center, home to several world class art museums, including the Kimbell, the Ft. Worth Modern , and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. We are down the street from the Dickies center. Located near interstate 30, it's easy on and easy off to locations around the metroplex; if you want to stay in the neighborhood it's a short ride or nice walk to shopping, great restaurants, grocery stores (Central Market), museums, and of course, Ft. Worth's historic stockyards . The Trinity Railway Express--a cheap and easy way to ride to and from DFW airport, is a 10 minute cab ride from the apartment. It is simply, a fantastic location from which to explore Fort Worth. Guest access Guest have access to a small studio apartment above our garage, very private. There is a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle and coffee maker, but no stove. No access to washer or dryer in the apt. you will have to use a laundry if that service is needed Parking is on the street in front of the house, or the side on the street. I request just one vehicle to park around the house, if you are going to need more than one vehicle please contact me. Two vehicles will be the limit, with permission. Other things to note My cleaning fee is a one time only fee. If you stay longer than a week it will be your responsibility to keep it clean. I will provide clean sheets and towels weekly. Extra cleaning fees may be applied if the apt. requires unusual (i.e. leaving dirty dishes, etc.) major cleaning.
