Guest suite in Hokendauqua

Former Firehall turned open-concept home on the Lehigh River. Minutes from I-22, I-78, Lehigh Valley Airport, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, attractions, shops & restaurants. Our home is in a small neighborhood in the Hokendauqua section of Whitehall and is right on the river w/outstanding views. Attached deck to enjoy the sites & sounds of the river. The paved Ironton Rail Trail is steps away for biking/walking. Friendly dog and family of four live on the premises, the suite is within our home. The space *Bathroom is attached with a pocket door for privacy. Bedroom has large windows overlooking the river, a full closet, small laptop desk for working, reclining chair and double/full bed. WIFI access available. Water, variety of Coffee and Tea will be available in our kitchen area. Note: this is an owner occupied home with semi-private suite. My family lives in the main part of the house. My family consists of me, myself, Jim, my partner and co-host. *My son and granddaughter are here some days overnight. Guest access Guests can use the deck to sit out and enjoy the River view and in the kitchen area, they may use the mini fridge to store items and use the microwave, toaster oven to heat food brought in. There is a Keurig coffee maker and Nespresso machine. Filtered water & Tea is also available. Guests are free to sit at our dining table and enjoy their coffee or meals or bring food up to their room if they prefer privacy. A door access code is given upon arrival. During your stay We are happy to answer any questions about the area and are open to socializing and conversing with guests. Our home is open concept, but our living room /tv room are for family only and not for guests to spend time in. Respect for our family time and privacy would be appreciated. Other things to note We have a small and very friendly dog. We are a family of 4, 3 adults and a 1 year old living with the house. We prefer to greet our guests in person when feasible. If greeting you in person can’t be coordinated, we do have a lock with an access code for entry, which can be used to come and go throughout your stay. We make arrangements with our guests before arrival to ensure we accommodate your needs.
