Palisade Room

The PALISADE ROOM is a private room with locking door in a 6 bedroom house, dedicated to guests, called The Launch Pad. It has a queen bed, couch, desk, mini fridge, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, a private sink, toilet and entrance. It has access to a shared shower down the hallway. Your hosts, Erin and Steve, live on-site. The Launch Pad is a great place to meet people and share adventure highlights. Other rooms available - Horsethief, Stillwater, Labyrinth & Westwater. The space The Launch Pad is a single level home built in 1960. It has a cozy, mid-century vibe and is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. The house has six bedrooms that have been converted into cute little hotel rooms, one of which is the host’s quarters. The other five rooms are specially designed for guests and most have their own bathrooms. COMMON SPACES The living room, dining room and courtyard are open to guest use. PLEASE NOTE…The kitchen and laundry are not available for guest use as they are the host’s private areas. We provide guests with a microwave, toaster, electric hot water kettle and dish-ware to use in the dining room. Every room has a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and a mini fridge. There is also a large fridge/freezer in the bike garage for guest use. If you are a guest booking 3 nights or more, we offer a $5 breakfast voucher to be used at our favorite diner (one per person per stay) as a thank you for extending your stay with us. GREAT LOCATION & BIKES! The house is one mile from city center and five miles to Arches National Park. We offer ON-SITE PARKING, CRUISER BIKES to use to ride into town or on the bike path to the Colorado river and STORAGE for your personal bike (bring your own 6 foot or longer cable lock). CLEANING EPA-registered disinfectants are used to clean all touchable surfaces. We clean rooms that have checked out and the common areas daily between 10am-3pm. WORK If you plan to work during your stay, please do not conduct vocal video/conference calls in the common areas, as we want all of our guests to feel at home and not at work. Our local library has a conference room you can rent for free. NOTE: Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. LATE CHECK-IN ACCEPTED Just use the airbnb message thread to let us know and we will leave a light on in your room. POTENTIAL CATS ON PREMISES We have a fair amount of friendly, neighborhood cats that enjoy our company and courtyard and thus may be seen cruising around the property.
