Lonnie's Private Eco Cottage with Lake & Trails

Unplugged, eco "glamping" experience. Very private Hogan shaped cottage on an open clearing, far back in the woods. Fire pit, grill ,screened porch, and wildlife pond, all in a completely secluded setting. Compost toilet, on demand hot water heater and rain water harvesting system. Ideal for honeymoons, anniversaries, and solo getaways. The space Octagon shaped cedar log cabin with a comfortable king bed, wood burning fireplace, seating area & dining table w/chairs. Indoor kitchenette is fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups and such for two people, plus microwave, coffee maker & mini fridge. A 2-burner propane gas camp stove & wood burning grill are located outside on the screened porch. Dishes, pots/pans & utensils are provided. Eco-designed plumbing includes filtered & purified rainwater; an easy to use, no odor composting toilet; and on-demand hot water heater. Bottled water & a dispenser are provided. Portable AC, fans and space heaters are available. Cottage access is via a grassy path--through the woods, across a field & down a hill. Very secluded! Lonnie’s Eco Cottage does not have television or cable. Wifi is not available. Guests are welcome to enjoy the nearby recreational area with swings, tennis courts, basketball hoops, bean bag toss, horseshoe games. It's 5-minute walk down a woodland path to small beach waterfront on our secluded spring-fed pond. We provide paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, float toys. Sorry, no pets. Guest access The whole cabin is yours to enjoy. The beach, recreation areas, and nature preserve are shared with other guests. Other things to note Guests have told us that Lonnie's is difficult to access by motorcycle because of sand. Lonnie's sleeps up to 2 people. Babies count as a guest. Guests are required to sign a waiver releasing RONORA Lodge LLC from liabilities. Check-in is contactless. We spread a very effective organic product on the property for mosquito control, but bug spray is recommended. Our no pets rules is firm.
