Please use the road, not the steep stairs that go down the mountain from the cabin to the road. Guests with young children should be cautious regarding the dangerous incline of the stairs. • While there is no central A/C, the home is usually kept very pleasant by the elevation, shade, and breeze. There are two fans and a window A/C unit upstairs for guests who prefer it a little cooler for sleeping. • 4WD/AWD Recommended. During winter months or inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended. We recommend one with sufficient clearance (i.e SUV, Truck, or raised Sedan). • No Mountain Discovery Pass: Please note that The Chicken Coop does NOT include the Mountain Discovery Pass (the included Biltmore Ticket or other seasonal activities).
