Welcome to our Cozy Cottage! This is a great place to kick back, relax and unplug; have your morning coffee on the enclosed patio, a bbq on the deck, visit the public beach or have a beer by the fire pit. At night, settle back inside to play a board game or watch a movie. There is no wifi at camp making it the ultimate place to unwind. **Air BnB has automatically listed our space as a, "1 minute walk to the lake". Although the lake is across the street, it is a 1 MILE walk to access the lake. The space **Please note: we do not have A/C at camp. We do provide plenty of fans, but on the nights where the temperature doesn't drop, it will most likely be warm upstairs. Please take this into consideration when booking.** Because there is no wifi, we’ve equipped it with everything you need to make your trip memorable and relaxing. The camp is nestled up on a small hill just across the street from Androscoggin Lake. If you are up for adventure and exploring the lake and nearby islands, we are happy to make rental suggestions. Inside the camp you will find board games, cds, puzzles, kids activities and books for your entertainment. There is an enclosed porch which is perfect for watching the occasional thunder and lightning storm over the lake or settling into a good book. A deck right off the porch houses a grill and plenty of seating for summer afternoon BBQ’s and the fire pit down below is a great place to roast marshmallows and watch the fireflies and stars at night. The two memory foam queen beds are new and will provide a restful night sleep after a full day of activities. This is a great place to make memories that you and your family or friends, will remember forever. Guest access The whole place is yours! Approximately 3/4 of a mile away is the public beach (Stinchfield) where you can launch your boat, kayak or set up for an afternoon of relaxing. Other things to note There is no wifi and with some carriers, the service can be spotty. There is no A/C at camp but there are plenty of fans. Please take this into consideration when booking. There are steep steps leading onto the deck and entrance of the camp and also steep steps to get from the first to the second floor. If you are bringing your well-behaved furry friend (dogs only, max of 2) there is an additional $75 non-refundable fee which includes a large Coolaroo bed, pet dishes and swimming towels. We do ask that our guests respectfully keep their dogs off the furniture and beds. If there is evidence that your dog has been on the furniture or beds or if there is dog waste on the grounds, there will be an additional $75 out of the original deposit. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation so we can continue welcoming your loved dogs!
