Our house is 2.8 miles from Venice Beach and is Culver City and Marina Del Rey adjacent. Short drives to Venice, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. Also close to Silicon Beach in Playa Vista and Culver Studios and Sony Studios in Culver City. Metro train stops are also a short drive away and bus stops are a short walk away. Great restaurants in walking distance as well! Our house is a cozy, safe haven with a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect for one person or couples. The space Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, our house is conveniently located to all things Los Angeles. We are situated on a quiet street in Mar Vista. We are about 15 minutes from LAX airport and you can take a taxi, rent a car, or take Uber or Lyft. If you are driving from the airport we will give you easy directions to our home. There is plenty of on-street parking. You will be greeted by Phil or myself and our dog Cato. Cato is a Belgian Malinois, a big active pup, so if you do not like dogs, this is not the place for you. The bedroom is cozy with a double full-size bed. If sleeping in proximity to your partner is not how you (bed) roll...then this may be too small for you. However, this has never been a problem in the past. There is a small espresso maker in the room. Tea is available upon request. We provide fresh filtered water. Guest access Our kitchen is available on a case-by-case basis depending on your needs, particularly if you agree to clean up after yourselves. Otherwise you may store food items in the refrigerator or borrow a cooler. You are welcome to use the laundry facilities within reason (one time per week at no charge and if you need to do more laundry we can discuss a nominal fee). Please enjoy the backyard patio and use the barbecue if you'd like. We have a fireplace in the living room which you are also welcome to enjoy. During your stay I am usually available at home or by cell phone and I can provide you with all kinds of information about local sights and things to do and give you tips to navigate the area as if you were a local! The extent of our interaction is up to you. Other things to note Given that COVID is still around we ask that our guests are vaccinated against it.
