Casita "Sunshine" Where you feel at Home!

Welcome to "Casita Sunshine" where Sunshine is enjoyed almost daily! “Mi casa es su Casa”, means “welcome” to our home; a traditional Arab hospitality adopted via Spain, then Latin America. We hope "Casita Sunshine" inspires a feeling of "bienvenidos"! At the end of your day, retire to a serene and quite space inside or out in the deck patio. Rest and relax! Be ready for your next adventure. We are happy to share any information to make your stay a memorable one. The space You are staying in what became the very first home that my then 13 year old son and I called "Our Very Own"! "Casita Sunshine" is the color children generally use to describe the Sun… Yellow! We share some favorite art hangings, several of which are gifts. Included are two of my favorites created by my 94-year-old "mum" who appreciates art and creativity! You will be greeting by her colorful and amazingly large butterfly puzzle with wings of angels; another with two beautiful little girls playing piano. You will see how her work goes far beyond a puzzle hobby! Also enjoy my collection of Cupid art; known in Latin as Amor ("Love"). Feel at home and relax on the patio deck with a soothing cup of tea or your favorite drink. Enjoy the Spirit of "Home" and take great memories back to yours! It's a great place to listen to the different birds that visit Casita "Sunshine" or just enjoy a relaxing afternoon with your favorite book! Other things to note I consider myself a global citizen. The world is my home and I love traveling to learn more about it and the people who live in it! I am just as comfortable sleeping in a hammock on a Central American beach as I am in a 5-star hotel. But, my favorite places are Airbnb's because I enjoy meeting the people who share their homes and learning about their cultures and their daily lives. "Smile KINDLY to whoever crosses your path" is my adopted life's motto. A smile invites friendship and I am fortunate to have friends in all corners of Planet Earth!
