Our place is a one of a kind property that is a wonderful escape for just about any kind of group. The cabin sits perched up on a beautiful scenic vista with expansive views of the Lake Saganaga. This is the entry point to paradise. Both the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Quetico Park offer unmatched scenery, wilderness and wildlife. No matter the season you will find our home to be the perfect retreat. The property has been fully updated and is the perfect combination of rustic and modern. The space This is a one of a kind property located on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Conveniently located adjacent to BWCA public access entry point 55 this property is perfect for your base camp for day trips into the BWCA or as a base camp for extended trips. It is also a great place for families or friends that want to get out and see the wilderness but come back to the creature comforts of a beautifully updated and appointed cabin. This cabin has stunning views from the beautiful newly built huge deck overlooking the lake. We know you will love it and look forward to your first stay. Guest access The entire property is for your use. You can sleep up to 10 people. The property is located directly on Saganaga lake which allows you and your party to enter the BWCA daily with appropriate permits from the US Forest Service. Other things to note The area is very remote. You will to prepare for your trip accordingly. If you plan to be outside in the summer months make sure you have mosquito protection. Please make sure to do your shopping in town at Grand Marais as there are no groceries nearby however there are several restaurants in the immediate area that you will enjoy. UPDATE 2021/02/05 : due to an issue in tax settings, a 4% Cook County Lodging Tax is not collected by Airbnb, and cannot be added to the tax collection section, so it's included as a 4% Community Fee.
