This Country Cottage is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Maryville, TN located on 8 acres with easy access to many scenic locations. A short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National park and the new extension of the Foothills Parkway. Located about 15 minutes from the famous BlackBerry farms. Inside the cottage you will find authentic barn wood walls and outside you will relax on the covered front porch. The cottage will sleep 4 comfortably and also has a sofa sleeper for 2 more. Nature at it's best while drinking coffee from the front porch of this cottage! While at the cottage there are books, games, cards, TV, internet cell phones work fine. No land line. Taking a nice walk in the woods, sitting on the front porch just relaxing. The cottage master bedroom sleeps 2 in a queen bed, guest bedroom sleeps 2 in a full size bed and the living room has a pull out sofa sleeper with a extra topper for more comfort. Electric fireplace in the living area. The kitchen is fully furnished with cookware, coffee pots, toaster. The location is very convenient but yet private enough. Booking age 21 years old. NO Party's NO Smoking, NO PETS (Allergies) We are about 2 miles from little river and public access to the river. The cottage is approx. 20 minutes from the Knoxville airport. Flights through McGhee Tyson (TYS). We are right beside the Barn at Wildwood Springs( weddings and gatherings) Approx. 30 min drive to Cades Cove, Great Smokey Mountains National Park and the new Foothills Parkway extention. We are about 40 minutes from the dragon, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and about 50 minutes to Gatlinburg. Located 2 miles from little river and River Johns Outfitters (Kayaks and canoe rentals). We are approx. 30 minutes from UT Campus. There are many good places to eat just a short drive into Maryville or Townsend. We also have many local antique shops in this area. Summer fun is going swimming in little river or floating on tubes. There are also public pools located in Maryville. We have a charcoal grill at the cottage if you want to bring charcoal to grill and we do have wood for the fire pit at the cottage. We live a few miles from the cottage and would be happy to answer any questions you may have during your stay. Please let us know if there is anything that we can assist you with or if there is anything that needs attention. Regular outdoor maintenance (mowing) may be done during longer stays. The cottage is about 15 min from downtown Maryville where there are nice bike trails, great places to eat and a local subs and such sandwich shop. Some of the restaurants have local bands on the weekends (Bluetick tavern & Smokey Mnt. Brewery) Bluegrass music at Music Row and Rocky Branch Community Center on Friday nights. Maryville is a nice town with a beautiful short drive to Townsend and the Great Smokey Mountains. In Townsend there is also Davey Crockett ridings stables, Foothills Parkway is only a few miles away with beautiful views overlooking the area. Tremont is a lovely tranquil drive also hiking area to Spruce flats waterfalls. There is free parking at the cottage. Rental cars and taxi are available at Mcghee Tyson airport. You will be given a door code before you arrive. Please DO NOT arrive early unless we have told you the cottage is ready or you can message us and ask if its ready. We need proper cleaning time. We do ask that you let us know an approximate time so we will be ready for you. If it is late and you book the same night just call us and we will make sure you have the code if you don't have it. Also we ask that upon leaving you send a text or call to let us know when the cottage is empty. Thank you!
