Uptown 2nd story apt/blocks from old fort!

This 2nd story apt in a restored turn of the century home is full of character, located blocks from old Fort, w off street parking!Enter to the 2nd floor from the first floor front door, where you will find 2 private BR along with a pull out sofa in your living room . The main BR has a queen bed , the other has twin over full bunk , it’s a very small room ..perfect for kids! Funky kitchen with a table. 1 bath w shower. Walking distance to all of the great attractions, shops and downtown! The space This house was renovated when I purchased in 2016. It was built in the early 1900s. I tried my best to keep as much of the character to the house as I could to keep it funky and cool !! If you’re looking for new, this is definitely not the place for you :-) although I have brand new AC unit , and the shower was remodeled… both in 2023 . All of the windows doors and most of the door hardware is original to the house. I own another house very similar to this layout right down the street on Grove Avenue and I was raised in a home on Hope Street that is the same layout. First generation track homes!! The second bedroom is small, great for kids ,but the main bedroom is large. The sleeper sofa is nice but its not great for a larger framed person and I don’t advertise as an option for sleeping extra guests…Keep in mind this is a second floor unit so the tenants below can hear everything that you do so coming home late night , noise after hours, may not be best fit if you want a raucous party stay. It would be great if you remove your shoes when he first entered on the first floor in place on the little wooden holder, that is provided. Also, remember when you first come in the door to your left, which is always locked and not accessible happens to be right at the foot of the bed for the tenants below. so please be courteous with your noise level :) Guest access Once you come through your door the entire space is yours there is a door to the left as you walk in but it is locked at all times (only I have a key) it is one of the rooms to the downstairs tenants so please be mindful if returning home late night! Other things to note There is one parking spot if you have a larger vehicle this may not be a good fit for you...better with smaller vehicles as it’s possible to fit them behind one another even if u have two... I have a private parking lot at my office just a few blocks away that can accommodate a larger vehicle for the length of your stay as well....I also may have Airbnb tenants downstairs so if your trip includes late night, noisy evenings , or precious ,active little running feet, this might not be the best fit:) As much as we love all animals, our space is not suitable for pets of any kind. We understand that this may eliminate our home from your search, but we want to be as transparent as possible to alleviate any stress this may cause.
