Baldwin City’s only Bed & Breakfast! This host-present boutique B&B is in my home, and is different than a hotel! Expect luxury hotel amenities in this historic home. rooms2Stay is adult-oriented (21+), not child-safe, mobility needs are to be considered, & no pets are allowed to ensure every stay remains safe and peaceful. 24-hour reservation notice; no walk-ins. The space In addition to homey comforts (the interior gingerbread style architecture, gently loved antiques, modern amenities in this 100 y.o. abode), expect hospitality, the niche of that separates this lodging from others in the area. The room sleeps 2 adults on a linen layered queen size bed with a foam mattress topper.  There is a shared bathroom (cleaned daily when multiple guests stay) between the rooms, all located on the 2nd floor. Rooms are keyed for security. There is a common area landing between the rooms self-serve hot/cold beverages and some snacks. Microwave and frig are conveniently available also on that community landing. The hostess loves pets, the "olders", and children but the house is not set up safely for this. There are stairs to house entry and up to the rooms. Guest access A desk/writing surface (with office supplies, free wifi and printing services upon request) and a dressing area is available for guest conveniently in their room. Other things to note PLEASE let the hostess know beforehand of any dietary preferences. Instructions will be provided for check-out upon arrival. Eatery open hours vary in town, suggest you grab a bite to eat before arriving. The town's eatery businesses' hours vary. This lodging establishment is firearm and drug-free, and a no-smoking environment (including vaping).
