Beach Drive Cottage

Quiet and private backyard cottage in West Seattle with public beach access 1/2 block away across the street. Beautiful sunsets, .1+ mile walk to Alki sandy beach. 10 minutes to Vashon ferry/Lincoln Park. Drive to downtown in 20 (unless heavy traffic) minutes, Metro in 30 minutes or the water taxi and be there in 15 minutes. Close to Lumen Field and T-Mobile Field. Tempur-pedic queen Murphy bed, kitchen, bath, and office. 1 parking sp . Close to all shopping/restaurants. Washer/Dryer. The space Steps away from the beach. Beautiful views from several close by public access beaches. Wonderful Italian restaurant - one block away. .8 mile flat walk, 4 - 5 minute bike ride to sandy side of Alki Beach with numerous restaurants. Use Seattle metro to downtown or water taxi (weekends starting 4/19.) Guest access Outside deck for summer time. Deck seating/tables in the summer, and double swing. If you would like furniture put out in the winter season, please let us know prior to your visit. The deck may shared with the main house - though we mostly use our front and other side yard deck for our entertaining purposes. There are 12 steps to get entrance to the main living area with an office and washer dryer on the ground floor at the entrance. Other things to note We have 2 friendly dogs that are let out in the fenced yard throughout the day. G is a goldendoodle (but he's actually black), and H is an irish setter pup - both are very friendly (though G may bark when first meeting you - with his tail wagging), happy puppers. There are 12 stairs to get from entrance/office to the main living area. There are recliners on wheels (see photo) that need to be rolled to the side in order to lower the Murphy Queen Bed - moderate strength needed. If you would prefer that the Murphy bed already be lowered before check-in, please note in your request. There is absolutely no smoking inside and no pets allowed.
