Welcome to Sylvan Lake in Rome City, IN. Sylvan Lake is an all season ski lake wonderful for all boating, fishing, skiing, tubing, wave runners and even a swim from the dock. You have 60 feet of lake front with two docks to bring your lake toys or rent a pontoon for the day/weekend or week. Full size kitchen, laundry, two big smart tv's with cable and wifi. Small shed for storage, large deck, canoe for 3, fire pit & gas grill. Wedding, family, golfing or weekend away? Lakeside Sylvan! The space Fitbit friendly for morning or evening walks or have some bikes to bring? You can do that right from the cottage and just a short distance from an 8 mile trail to Kendallville. Gene Stratton Porter Museum right down the road. Full grocery, liquor and bait along with the large public boat launch just blocks away. Some great restaurants, lakeside pubs and wineries all close. You may even smell some baking from the Amish community and town of Shipshewana and their seasonal flea market 30 minutes away. About 700 acres of a beautiful lake is waiting for you. There is a lock-box keyless entry at the back door for easy access. Note all of the beds (queen and 3 twins) are all in the open upstairs loft. Approximately 14 carpeted steps with a handrail up. Other things to note The 4 available beds are all on the upstairs /loft level. We have never allowed pets of any kind or size or smoking. No smoking and no pets.
